How MeetBefore works
Three steps, no pressure. MeetBefore is for the meeting before the relationship: a short, safe, public first meeting so you can decide with your eyes open.
1. Browse and save
Every profile is a real person who signed up themselves. Read their prompts, their opening question and their reviews. Save the ones you would like to meet.
2. Answer their opening question
Every profile starts with a question chosen by that person. Answering it is how you say hello, and it is why conversations here actually get replies.
3. Call, then meet
Most people offer a free 15-minute video call first. After that, request a coffee, a walk, dinner, a workout, a study session or a family introduction. Meetings happen in public places, often at a partner venue that signed our safety charter.
Some people charge for their time and some charge nothing. Either way nothing is charged until the meeting is accepted, and nothing at all for a free intro call.
After the meeting
Leave a review, say you would meet again, or write a sealed letter that opens only if the other person writes one too. When two people are sure, one can propose and both step out of search together.
